This fitting is for dancers who are ready for their very first pair of pointe shoes, or for dancers who need to be fitted for a new pair.
We’re thrilled to announce that Hannah Requa is now partnering with From the Top to offer professional pointe fittings. With over 15 years of experience as a dancer and educator — including her time as a principal soloist with Corpus Christi Ballet and current work with Ventana Ballet — Hannah brings unmatched expertise to ensure every dancer’s fit is safe and successful.
We highly recommend that dancers are professionally refitted for every pair of pointe shoes. As dancers’ feet grow, develop, and strengthen, their pointe shoe fit and support needs can change, and a professional fitting ensures those changes are properly addressed.
From the Top strongly recommends teacher approval before being fitted for your first pair of pointe shoes. Dancing en pointe without teacher approval can lead to serious injury.
Fitting Fee: There is a $25 pointe fitting fee, which will be applied toward your pointe shoe purchase. Please note this fee is non-refundable if you cancel less than 24 hours before your fitting or do not purchase shoes.
Timing: Pointe shoe fittings take approximately 30–60 minutes. Please arrive on time for your appointment, as your professional fitter is coming in specially for you!
Scheduling: Appointments are required. If you don’t see a time on our calendar that works, please call us and we’ll do our best to accommodate your schedule: 254-732-3716
What to Bring: If you are already on pointe, please bring your current shoes with you to your fitting.
Confirmation: We will call you the day before your fitting to confirm your appointment.
